I’ve always loved to photograph children. Their curiosity, spontaneity, expressiveness, and boundless energy make for wonderful photographs.
Every child is unique, and every one of my shoots is based on that basic understanding. I treat each shoot like a play date — a relaxed opportunity to hang out, have fun, and wait for magical moments to happen. I’m not interested in creating generic posed portraits. Instead, I want to get to know your children as individuals, so I can create images that express who they really are as people.
The best photos happen when kids are at ease in familiar surroundings, which is why I shoot on location and try to use primarily natural light.
I never end a shoot until I feel confident I’ve truly captured your child’s personality. That’s why, though they typically last 1-2 hours, I never place a time limit on my photo sessions. Sure enough, many of my clients’ favorite images ended up happening in the most unexpected moments.
Life happens — I’ll be there to capture it.
