Weddings

As you can probably tell from the pictures on my website, my photography style is laid back and friendly.I try to shoot in an unobtrusively calm, natural way, with a focus on FUN. I’m not a big in-your-face photographer, and I mostly shoot with a zoom lens, so you forget I’m even there.

I prefer to take a back seat and watch the day’s events unfold naturally. However, when it comes to formal family portraits, I snap to it so we can get those done quickly and get you back to the celebration! Overall, my approach is very moment-driven — my intention is to document the relationships between you and your partner and both of your families on what will be your most important day.

I shoot mostly outdoor and tented weddings because I love the opportunities afforded by beautiful natural lighting. Timeliness and responsiveness are extremely important to me, so I’ve structured my business to limit the number of weddings I accept each year. This way, I can be available to you throughout the planning process as a sounding board and helpful resource. Also, I provide a speedy turnaround time for your photos (2-4 weeks) and wedding album (as little as three months after the wedding).
